Server Spotlight — June Week 4Welcome back to another weekly roundup of what's been happening across the PotatoServer network. Here's the pulse for June 18 – June 25.
The Week at a GlanceWe hit a peak of 24 concurrent players this week with a typical average of about 4 players online at any given time. The busiest moment came on Monday at 9 PM, which turned out to be our hottest window.
Overall we saw 2,486 total joins across the network — that's up +33.7% over the previous week, so momentum is building.
What's PopularCall of Duty completely ran the table this week with 823 joins and a peak of 16 players. Across all the CoD servers — MW2, MW3, Black Ops, Zombies, Nuketown — this game alone accounted for a third of all network activity.
Killing Floor 2 held second place with 173 joins and hit a peak of 6 players. The modded KF2 server got some love too.
Left 4 Dead chimed in with 21 joins and a peak of 4, and V Rising put up a respectable 33 joins with a peak of 3.
Hidden Gems — Looking for a Fresh Start?We've got a ton of fantastic servers sitting quiet right now that are just waiting for the right crew:
- ARK: Survival Ascended — a massive world with room for 70. A single player stopped by this week. There's a whole island waiting for a tribe.
- SCUM — 64 slots, survival hardcore. One person checked it out. Could use some company.
- 7 Days to Die — the survival classic is online and ready, had a few visitors this week.
Also sitting at zero this week but always worth a revisit: Rust, DayZ, Valheim, Abiotic Factor, and Project Zomboid. If any of these are your jam, grab a friend and jump in — you might just kick off the next big thing.
Trends We're WatchingThe +33.7% week-over-week growth is the headline. That's a solid jump, and it's being driven almost entirely by the Call of Duty lineup and consistent traffic through the KF2 servers.
Monday night was clearly the place to be — 9 PM saw our highest concurrency all week. If you're looking for people to play with, evenings early in the week seem to be your best bet right now.
